Also, note that if you lose the first match on superstar on purpose then you get to play an easier superstar difficulty 3 times instead of 2, so basically you play 3 'easy', 2 medium and 1 strong, though they are all still pretty tricky. Instead, the manager you pick has already 1 for you and you can't change it, I personally chose a manager with 4-3-3 and aggressive strategy using counter attacks and long balls, 4-3-3 also was suitable for my players as I had Messi RWF, Coutinho LFW and Turan AMF. I had a solid defence too and with a team spirit of 99 and goalkeepers being great in PES 2017, it made it a bit easier for me.
